Health and PSS Services
Since 2021, DAWEO has been dedicated to providing
comprehensive health and psychosocial support services in Bamyan and Paktia
provinces. Our initiatives encompass a range of services, including medical
care, mental health counseling, vocational training, and legal awareness
programs. We prioritize community-based interventions, ensuring that our
services are accessible and culturally sensitive to the needs of local
populations. Through continuous engagement and collaboration with local
communities, DAWEO strives to empower individuals and families, fostering
resilience and well-being in the face of adversity.
Economic Empowerment
DAWEO is dedicated to fostering economic independence among women in Bamyan and Paktia provinces. Our initiatives encompass vocational training in areas such as food processing, embroidery, and dairy products, equipping women with practical skills to enhance their livelihoods. These programs are complemented by psychosocial support and health services, creating a holistic approach to empowerment. By fostering self-reliance and economic independence, DAWEO aims to uplift women and contribute to the socio-economic development of these communities.
Advocacy & Lobbying
DAWEO is committed to advancing the rights and well-being of marginalized communities through strategic advocacy and lobbying efforts. We engage in evidence-based campaigns to raise awareness and influence policy decisions that impact health, education, and social services. Capacity Building
