DAWEO has signed MoU with the MoHajj and MoWA. Both mentioned ministries, have provided DAWEO their need assessments and DAWEO considered and based these assessments in building the training manual. As two ministries suggested, DAWEO organized 3 rounds of training for each mentioned Ministries. The participants attended from different provinces.
The trainings for MoHaj staff mainly focused on, gender, its history and impact on the society, gender-based violence, feminism and awareness on the Women Protection Centers’ work and effectiveness, women right from the perspective of Islam, the enforced national and international laws on protection of women rights. The MoHaj training sessions were conducted in the following dates:
- The first round of training conducted on 08-11 April (17 Participants)
- The second round on 21-24 April (23 Participants)
- Third round on 22-25 September (18 Participants)
